beatSTRONG offers GROUP NUTRITION CLASSES led by CERTIFIED NUTRITION COACHES to help you make healthier choices in a sustainable way.  Nutrition is a key component in reaching your fitness goals.  In fact, bad food choices can quickly cancel out your fitness gains.

At beatSTRONG, our classes focus on learning about WHOLE FOOD EATING and LIMITING PROCESSED FOODS & SUGARS.  No matter what your current lifestyle or eating habits are, our goal is to help you make better choices that you can maintain over time.  Making informed, healthy nutrition decisions, not fad diets, weight loss pills or pink drinks, is the most effective way to lose and maintain your weight.

Below is a sample of some of the nutrition coaching topics offered by our knowledgeable nutrition coaches.  Each interactive session lasts about 30 minutes and is followed by an optional 15-minute Q&A session.

Gut Health: What’s the Big Deal?

In this class, you will learn the basics about gut health and why it should matter to you.  We will cover how your gut health affects your overall wellness and practical steps you can take to make sure your gut is in good shape!

Pondering Protein

In this workshop, you will learn about how concerned you should be about your daily protein intake, alternative sources of protein, and some great options for local and humanely raised meat and dairy products.  

Plant Power

This workshop will teach you about the positive impact fruits and vegetables can have on your health and some easy ways to add more plant power into your diet.

Sugar Blues 1

Are you experiencing low energy and brain fog? Learn how to fight your sugar blues in this informative session. We will talk about the dangers of eating too much sugar, how much sugar you should have in your diet and how to make better choices to get you back on the right track.

Sugar Blues 2

Attend our newest workshop, Sugar Blues 2. Get a more in-depth look at the dangers of sugar, where it is lurking, and develop a personal plan to reduce the amount of sugar you are consuming.  *Participation in original Sugar Blues workshop not required.
